I've never purchased a more substandard pair of earrings before. My baad for thinking they might have been stainless steel.. they are a painted base metal. I DID expect them to come with earbacks because even these kinds of earrings can work their way out of your ears in just a few hours. NO EARBACKS! But the real offender is that they did not use the proper Ear wire. They used a cheapo earwire that they had to twist on the hook to keep it attached! Who not use a ball hook earwire, or a ball hook earwire with a spring? Either one would have been correct + it would have allowed maximum movement of the leaf. As it stands, with the current crudest "handiman method", there is little swing allowed by attaching it to an earwire & TWISTING the wire to keep it attached to the leaf. They took a beautiful concept, used the crudest methods & made it SUBSTANDARD. Because I have extra CORRECT earwires, I'll install ballhook earwires on these babies & wear then until discoloration sets in with this painted metal that was used. Really really cheap & incorrect.
